DROUHIN COTE DE BEAUNE VILLAGES showcases delicate aromas of red fruits and subtle earthiness typical of the Côte de Beaune region in Burgundy, France. This wine reflects the terroir through its medium body and smooth tannins, making it an approachable choice for Pinot Noir enthusiasts. It is a great example of what the Pinot Noir grape can produce on the Burgundian terroir. According to the appellation laws, 16 different villages of the Côte de Beaune (Aloxe- Corton, Beaune, Pommard and Volnay are the exceptions) can be blended to make Côte de Beaune Villages. Joseph Drouhin carefully selects the grapes of only a few of these villages.
For optimal enjoyment, serve this wine slightly below room temperature, ideally around 16-18°C (60-65°F). Pair it with roasted poultry, duck, or mild cheeses to enhance its flavors, and consider decanting for 30 minutes before serving to allow it to open up.
