A refined, powerful and intensely mineral Chardonnay from one of Chablis’s most prestigious Premier Cru vineyards. The 2024 Montée de Tonnerre displays classic Chablis freshness while offering impressive concentration and depth.

The nose opens with lemon zest, lemon confit, green apple, ripe pear and white flowers, followed by nuances of orange peel, wet stone, chalk and subtle iodine. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet precise, with vibrant citrus acidity, a silky texture and a pronounced Kimmeridgian mineral character. The finish is long, dry, saline and chalky, leaving an elegant impression of citrus and wet stone.

Louis Michel’s use of stainless-steel fermentation and maturation rather than oak preserves the wine’s purity and allows the vineyard’s mineral character to shine.
