CHAT PONTET TEYSSIER 750ML was founded in 1967 and it is a boutique family owned estate that boasts vines averaging 45 years old, planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The soils of limestone and clay are perfect for these 2 varieties, and well-known for producing top quality Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. This wine features a balanced flavor profile characterized by ripe red fruits, subtle earthiness, and refined tannins, making it an excellent choice for both casual and formal occasions. Aromatic, smooth, fruit-driven and delicious with notes of violets, rose petals, red cherries and plums. This is complemented by subtle spices and vanilla from gentle oak aging. Only 60% of the final cuvée is aged in oak, 40% in stainless steel. All the grapes are carefully handpicked and sorted, only 3300 cases made per year.

For optimal enjoyment, serve this wine slightly below room temperature and pair it with dishes such as roasted meats, hearty stews, or aged cheeses. It can also benefit from decanting before serving, allowing the flavors to fully develop.
